“Congratulations you’ve been accepted!” These can be the most amazing words when you have applied to a college, to a training program, to a medical school, for an internship.  You starting booking planes, trains and buses, you pack your suitcase and you’re on your way. There is just one problem — where will you live? Student housing, if it is offered, does not always fit the situation — there are often waiting lists, crowded dorms, the cost is often cost-prohibitive for what you get in return. To be honest, dorm life is not for everyone and the time tables may not work. It feels like most people have their roommates all lined out and it seems everyone has a place to live but you. And then there is the problem of time — what if you are just coming for a semester? What if you have an internship that requires a commute to work far from the University? What if you come from another country and you do not have the connections and resources to plan ahead and secure your spot? What if you are a medical student or graduate student who is looking for more than student housing can offer? 

We’ve got your solution. First, we offer short-term housing — as little as 30 days — and often you can move in within hours and can book from wherever you are. Second, the waiting lists, roommate search, and conditions of the noisy dorm life are not a factor here. Additionally, all of our houses are conveniently located near subways, cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and bus stops. We have houses all over New York — Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Astoria, Long Island City, Manhattan near Central Park and more opening up in the next few months.

If you are a digital nomad stopping over in New York to do your internship at Google or Apple,  or a theater student doing a little time checking out the Broadway scene, or a medical student on rotation and needing just a couple of months’ housing, we’ve got you covered. 

You travel here to study, you travel here to intern, you travel here to practice your craft, to receive training,  learn English, pursue your passion project. You do not need the hassle of tracking down a place to stay only to find the conditions that are not suitable. We often hear horror stories of students or interns who arrive here only to find the living conditions and/or location are nothing like what was promised. You need to be set up when you arrive so you can go to school and come home to a place that feels like home — you’re here alone, perhaps you know no one outside of class, perhaps you feel isolated — we’ve got your community. It’s nice to arrive and know the beds are comfortable, the towels and linens are provided, the amenities are top-notch, and your kitchen is stocked and ready.
