Rent a room in a modern Brooklyn house. An open kitchen, a long community table perfect for potluck dinner as well as tall hip bar tables align the walls of the funky common living/dining area. There are two refrigerators, two ovens and all of the essentials you’ll need- including a coffee maker, pots and pans, kitchen gadgets, a stove, oven, and a microwave. There is an upbeat, modern vibe to the house with lots of cool decorative elements. Our designers work extra hard to make your stay as comfortable and pleasing as possible. We understand that the energy of the house will affect the people living in it. The common living area is small and cozy. There is comfortable seating in the living room which has a large TV. Also, the house is equipped with high-speed internet which is included in the all-in-one price.
The house has a total of seven rooms, one of which is a private master bedroom in a separate wing of the house which has its own closet perfect for those seeking a quiet private space. So, if you are looking for real privacy, you’ll find it in this home. The other rooms have two beds and each room has its own wardrobe. The beds are twin sized, and bed linens, towels, comforters, and pillows are all provided. All rooms are fully furnished and safe. Throughout the house, there are a total of three bathrooms each of which has a bath and shower as well as a toilet. There’s also air conditioning which will ensure optimal temperatures in every room all year round. Each room has its own window with plenty of sunlight.

Located in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, it borders Bushwick which alone is a super hip, cool neighborhood and it’s just a short walk to the hip and trendy Ft. Green. Dekalb Market dishes out “global eats, foodie faves, and great groceries” just 15 minutes away from the New York Friends Home. There are many opportunities around this location, including green parks, restaurants, shops, clubs, and tons of other fun stuff to do. JFK Airport is just a 30-minute drive away and Union Square is just 28 minutes away on the train. The J line from Kosciuszko Street Station is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Transportation is not a problem, because this location offers a lot of different and various opportunities.
