Rooms for Rent NYC

Do you know that you do not necessarily need to move around with your furniture and fittings, wares, and fixtures whenever you are required to move into NYC or within New York City?

Have you ever had to move out of your comfortable living space with all your favorite things for about a month and when considering the cost of having to stay in a hotel or hostel made you scream in fright?

Did the thought of having to share a bathroom or bedroom with strangers make you want to cry? Did it make you wish you could have the homely feeling that a well-furnished room gives and not bankrupt yourself in the process?

Or have you ever experienced the soul-crushing stress that looking for a house or an apartment can cause?

SharedEasy is your answer to a new way to live and work in a new city. We provide a lot of different property services like providing corporate housing for young professionals in New York, providing furnished room rentals in the city of New York, off-campus student housingfor all the many students in New York’s universities, rooms for rent in Manhattan and Brooklyn, month-to-month rentals in New York, and furnished short term rentals in the city of New York. We also have houses available for rent in Los Angeles. We’ve got rooms for you in The Upper East Side, the Lower East Side, Brooklyn, Bushwick, Murray Hill, Upper West Side, Ridgewood, East Village, The Bronx, Harlem, Williamsburg, Queens Cobble Hill, Long Island City, Washington Heights, Hell’s Kitchen and Bedford-Stuyvesant; no district is left out. We cover all areas. As a New Yorker, you know what stress you go through trying to get a decent house to rent.

New York is a large, busy, and exciting place to live. There are over 8 million people living in NYC. The population density of NYC is over 27,000 people per square mile, with Manhattan as the most densely populated borough with over 72,000 people per square mile. However, if you are new to the city, finding an affordable room to rent in the first place could be a tug of war. The large population of people that call this metropolitan area home, coupled with the continuous in-flow of people makes it hard for you to find a place that will suit your budget and your sensibilities. The vacancy rate for apartments in NYC is 3.61%. Rents in New York City are high, with the average rent for a studio apartment being $2,750 per month, the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment at $3,300 per month, and the average rent for a two-bedroom apartment in NYC at around $4,100 per month. These rental prices may not include utilities such as gas, water, and electricity.

There are thousands of apartment hunting horror stories, where people are shown a box of an apartment with the kitchen and the bathrooms so close together it might well be one room or places where the bedrooms were so narrow, only a bed would fit in there, for outrageous prices like $1,300, $1,500 or $2,000 per month? Sounds outrageous right?

Some people’s horror stories involve being shown bare apartments where they have to pay as much as $1,400 as the rental fee, and still have to spend money on furniture for the living room. You definitely don’t want to be caught in this mess. Save yourself the stress of an extended search and choose SharedEasy’s furnished apartments.

The most frequently asked questions we get are:

1. What are my rent and additional fees?

A: SharedEasy has an all-inclusive price policy. We do not charge membership fees, utility fees, cleaning fees, maintenance fees, fees for internet or wifi, application fees, broker’s fees, You get no extra fees. All payments you make are al-inclusive. So if we tell you that you need to pay $2,100, or $1,000 or $1,850 , that;sall you need to pay. Also, the price you pay depends on your room type, house, date of arrival, and length f stay. One of the best things about this is that the longer your stay, the cheaper the price you have to pay monthly. It pays to choose SharedEasy for all your needs.

2. What is the minimal length of stay at a SharedEasy room rental?

A: SharedEasy’s policy states that the minimum amount of time a rental can take a house is thirty (30) days. You can definitely stay as long as you like at any of our rental houses. We promise you safety, comfort, and an exceptional experience. We have clients that have stayed in one or more of our rentals or years. Remember, SharedEasy is all about building community and making sure that all our clients have an exceptional experience with our properties. We pride ourselves on being one of the best in the rental business in the world.

3. What types of rooms do you have?

A: SharedEasy has a wide selection of rooms to meet your needs and suit your budget. Our highest-priced rooms are our private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, for our clients who prize their privacy above all else. We also have private rooms with queen-sized beds, and if you are someone who likes being in other people’s company, we have shared rooms with two and three single beds, and even with a queen-sized bed. There’s something for every budget, whether said budget is $800 or $2,500.

4. Do you make any provisions for couples?

A: Yes, we do. SharedEasy makes allowances for couples. We allow couples to stay in any of our furnished rooms. There is, however, a little additional cost incurred, which is supposed to cover the service expense for the extra person in the home. Not to worry, this additional expense does not cost as much as it would to rent an additional room for your significant other.

5. When is rent due?

A: On SharedEasy’s schedule, rent is due 5 days before the new month on your schedule. So if you moved in on the 25th of February, your rent is due on the 20th of March. SharedEasy allows you to split your rent. You can either split the rent into two payments of four payments. Splitting the rent incurs a small additional fee, however. Splitting your rent payments into two payments will cost you an additional 7%, while splitting your rent into four payments will cost you an additional 14% of your rent. This is great for those months where it seems like business is slow, or for months where it seems like you have so much to do with money, but so little money.
Coliving is urban living made better. SharedEasy is coliving made simple for the comfort of all our clients. Take that leap, and try SharedEasy today for all your housing needs.
