About this House

The Summary

The Manhattan Columbus House is one block from Central Park, a fifteen-minute walk from Riverside Park, and a 20-minute walk from Columbia University. It lies within the Manhattan Valley near the Upper West Side. The area is charming, quiet, unassuming, and has more parks (at least four!) within walking distance than any other part of the city.

The Manhattan Columbus Houses

There are a total of three apartments each with 6 bedrooms, all private with queen-sized beds, high-quality bedding, towels, and each room has a closet. There are three bathrooms in each apartment. The apartments have an open floor plan where the community is fostered — relax on the couch and watch the flat-screen smart TV, equipped with ROKU for prime viewing, dine together at the big table perfectly suited for sharing stories and getting to know your housemates. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, gas ranges, and all are stocked with the essentials — toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes — everything you need to be set up for a comfortable living.

The prices listed below serve as an initial indication and are based on a 12-month contract. However, the final price will be determined by various factors such as seasonality, availability, and commitment level. Our pricing policy follows the principle of offering discounted rates for longer stays, ensuring that the longer you choose to stay with us, the more affordable your rates become.

The culinary drink scene has started to take off in Manhattan Valley, Upper West Side area. Mama’s Too! Is a favorite for delicious pizza and Sal & Carmine’s remains the longtime slice mainstay; Grain House, Atlas Kitchen, and 108 Food Dried Hot Pot have brought their touch of Asian in recent years. Thai Market is considered one of the best Thai places in all of Manhattan; Cascabel Taqueria’s outdoor seating is filled up every summer night, and Dive 106 and Bob’s Your Uncle are locally-beloved neighborhood dives.

Everything was top standard, nothing cause any troubles! The home throought was clean and well maintained. I stayed there for a month in shared room. Overall I would highly recommend!

I’ve stayed at Bushwick Terrace Home for a month and it’s been amazing! I’ve felt super comfortable and If I had a problem, it was solved within the day. I’m a student and for me important for the rooms have plenty of a space to be comfortable, the best thing is the desk to study and having space for the computer. I’ve been sharing the apt with good residents too! Thanks for all SharedEasy! I would recommend it!

Everything was great: Customer Service from SharedEasy plus the location, and especially my housemates! It was a life changing experience in one of the best areas on NYC. Highly recommended and hope I will be back soon!

Living at the Bernard Brooklyn Home was really nice. The people were pleasant, the process was smooth and without any stress. The staff was always available and answered in a timely fashion!

I had an incredible co-living experience with SharedEasy! The sense of community within the Bernard Brooklyn Home helped me settle into a city where I didn’t know anyone, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for the world. I met some amazing people who were on journeys far different than mine, and trading stories made my time there unforgettable. 5/5 stars!
