Brooklyn is no longer the haunted place it used to be. Now you’ll find quality trendy places to live and work. It radiates history, creativity, and a truly beautiful distinctive architecture that you simply will not find in any other part of New York. Brooklyn has been found enjoyable by various communities of people.

Williamsburg

One of the best and coolest neighborhoods to live in Brooklyn is Williamsburg. It’s a nice part of Brooklyn and a mix of everything. From people of different cultures and religions, from young people to older people, to various restaurants, and to luxury apartments, for which many people would give everything to live in. You can think of Williamsburg as a mixture of numerous different flavors. You will easily find everything here. However, this was not always the case, but beautiful architecture from the past has remained here, the likes of which you will not find anywhere else. From the outside, the houses look beautifully old, and from the inside, you experience real luxury. Of course, it is important to know what type of housing you are looking for. But if you are looking for housing in Williamsburg, prepare your wallet, because Williamsburg has attained the height of being home to some of the most expensive apartments and rentals in New York. It would be smart if you used SharedEasy for your housing need because thanks to us, you can live in this part of New York for a really considerate price and at the same time very high quality.

Bedford-Stuyvesant

Near Williamsburg is a neighborhood where living is more affordable. It’s one of those parts of Brooklyn that you often see on TV so it is a very trendy part of the city. The streets are lined with canopy trees and old industrial buildings, of which there are more than 9,000. Bed-Stuy, as the locals often refer to it, is home to many young and old celebrities. They have the apartments of celebrities such as Chris Rock and Mike Tyson. This part of Brooklyn is quiet and maybe that’s why it’s home to many famous and influential politicians, lawyers, musicians, writers, and various artists. Bed-Stuy has many parks with summer cinemas in summer and restaurants and bars. Quiet streets are quite common here, and this can be considered a miracle in New York.

Crown Heights

This neighborhood is known primarily for being the home of Orthodox Jews and a large population of Caribbean immigrants. It is a neighborhood that is intertwined with ordinary townhouses and high-rise buildings. This neighborhood is slowly but surely becoming one of the most sought-after locations for living in Brooklyn and we recommend it to our Coliving residents. Needless to say, housing prices in this neighborhood are very low compared to other thriving parts of Brooklyn, so living in this area shouldn’t hit your wallet as much as living in Williamsburg.

This part of Brooklyn boasts a long pier of up to 400 meters, which offers a beautiful view of the whole of Manhattan. It is magical especially at night, but even during the day, it is a good location to relax and think. This part of the city is famous because the HBO series “Girls” takes place here, and maybe that’s why people started moving here more than ever before. Living in this neighborhood is more expensive because it lies between other famous neighborhoods – Williamsburg and Long Island. In any case, you will find many great local cafes and restaurants, for example on Franklin street, which will improve your mood and which offers so many delicacies that you can taste every day. Greenpoint is a lively location with beautiful views, and most importantly, you can easily get to the center of New York from here.

This neighborhood is closest to Manhattan and one would expect shiny skyscrapers. It is located right next to the financial district, which is why many business people and people from Wall Street living here. Anyway, it’s good, but there are no skyscrapers. On the contrary, most of the houses are old, but beautiful and luxurious. It is a part of the city that has cobbled streets and in which the atmosphere of old New York breathes on you everywhere you go. There are no high-rise buildings (at least not as tall as those in Manhattan). It is mainly guided by the 1965 law on the preservation of monuments. Basically, it can be said that high-rise buildings can never be built here. However, it is one of the most expensive parts of Brooklyn, but residents get what they pay for. It is a neighborhood that is basically in the middle of New York, but the tradition of the city is preserved. You can easily get to the promenade, where you can jog. There are many parks, and also great nightlife.

Fort Greene

Among all the neighborhoods in Brooklyn, this neighborhood is best for commuting in the suburbs or to Jersey or Connecticut. There is a lot of greenery and you will also find many different shops. In this neighborhood, however, it’s not just about shopping, New York offers it almost everywhere. This part of the city is the center of artists who coming here to be here for a long time. Brooklyn has many different parts that are worth mentioning, but these are the neighborhoods that are truly exceptional in the areas of security and diversity. Basically, it can be said that everyone here will find what they are looking for. Whatever you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it in the right Brooklyn neighborhood. One does not have to be directly in Manhattan to appreciate the beauty and possibilities of New York. Many locals will tell you that there is much more going on in Brooklyn than in the more popular but much more expensive Manhattan. Brooklyn has simply undergone a huge positive transformation in the last few decades, and people have noticed. That is why Brooklyn is constantly expanding and now has more and more people of different ages, social groups, and religions. So Brooklyn could be characterized in one word, and that is tolerance.
