Rooms For Rent In Manhattan

Manhattan is the most densely populated and geographically the smallest of the five boroughs in New York City. It is fondly referred to as The City, and it is the urban core of the New York Metropolitan area. Manhattan is New York City’s economic and administrative center, cultural identifier, and historical birthplace. Manhattan has also been described as the cultural, financial, media, and entertainment capital of the world, and it is the home of the United Nations headquarters. Manhattan is also home to the world’s two largest stock exchanges by market capitalization: NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange.

Manhattan’s neighborhoods are unique; from the skyscrapers of Midtown to the historic West Village, you will be able to find an apartment in a wide variety of buildings and settings on the island of Manhattan. In Midtown, you will find famous skyscrapers housing the offices of financial institutions, publishers, and other businesses. Manhattan offers all sorts of cuisine from around the world as well as New York’s local specialties. Manhattan’s Upper East Side is the home of wealth and luxury, and Midtown Manhattan is home to the iconic place of Fifth Avenue, the foremost retail destination in the world. The Lower East Side boasts such cultural attractions as the Tenement Museum and old-world fabric stores. It is also the home of authentic delis such as Katz, and Russ & Daughters.

Manhattan, New York, is home to a lot of iconic sites and is hence, one of the major commercial, financial, and cultural centers in the world. You could call it the heart of the Big Apple. It is home to beautiful skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building, the neon-lit Times Square, Greenwich Village, Harlem, Central Park; the United Nations headquarters; and the theaters on Broadway. The borough also contains one of the world’s best-known streets; Broadway, the financial district of Wall Street; and different cultural and educational institutions, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. All of these beautiful features are the things that make the borough more outstanding than the rest. This is one of the reasons it is difficult to find moderately-priced apartments in Manhattan, New York. Manhattan is the most desirable place for people to live, and when a lot of people want to live in a place, the search for a decent place to live can be frustrating, thankless, and tiring. And yes, it gets worse when you urgently need to set up your space in a new place. When deadlines are looming, and no place to live is forthcoming, it can be so stressful.
Another source of stress for an apartment hunter is hands down the types of apartments available for your budget. Sometimes it seems like the rental agencies are desperately trying to get those low-budget apartments off their hands, because why else would they be trying to get you to rent a unit without storage space? Or a $1,800 house without a closet or a dryer? This is a very frustrating situation to be in.
Everyone knows that furnished apartments give the least stress to all involved. What happens when all you can find in your budget are unfurnished apartments, or places only available to sublet? Let’s look at the current statistics on renting a house in Manhattan, New York.
